Serious bug confirmed order when user hasn't paid

Support forumSerious bug confirmed order when user hasn't paid
Dan asked 5 years ago
Hi,
I'm having a related issue like this person https://easy-appointments.net/support/user-automatically-gets-email-with-confirmed-status-even-if-he-didnt-pay/
I don't understand why his ticket hasn't been replied to or the issue fixed for 7 months now.
I have my ezappointments connected to woocommerce. When a user creates a slot status changes to pending and if the user goes to a checkout page and selects pay by Paypal, suddenly the status of the appointment changes to Confirmed without the user paying at all. It's a serious overlook. We can't check manually for all users if they have paid or not, can we get an update here?

I have paid for the plugin and I'd like to get some support on this asap.

Thanks

Hi, sorry for waiting. That part is too hard to recreate locally. Extension rely on woocommerce_checkout_create_order_line_item action in order to change status of appointment. Problem is that for some reason that it triggered before Payment. We will do additional check in order to find some solution for this problem :( Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola,
You didn't specify any time frame? It's a serious bug. Can't we get an emergency patch instead of waiting for some changes to happen some time which you didn't even mention because I reckon they aren't in the next few days?

Hi Simon, sorry for waiting it will be within this week. We are testing it so it performs good in all settings. This will have impact on all users that are using WooCommerce integration so must take care that everything works fine. Best regards, Nikola
