Time slots not showing as booked

When I book a slot, EA creates the appointment but it does not block off the time slot and allows for double booking the same date/time. I have tried all combinations of the calculate busy slots in the General setting. I have also tried both the shortcode widget in Elelmentor and a separate test page using the WP block editor. Wordpress 6.1.1 Astra Theme, Elementor 3.9.2 and Pro 3.9.2  EA is 3.10.7

When you open report [old] page in Admin part and go to time overview table. How many free slots do you see? It should be 1 to avoid multiple bookings. Best regards, Nikola
