I have the same problem, calendar is using api call and appointment shows in Calendar but customer does not receive an email. The Custom form Field has email, PayPal Transaction ID, Name, Phone and Description. Admin is receiving email but customer is not receiving email.
Hi again, after a few hours of experimenting:
Under Easy Appointments->customize If the “confirmed” tab is blank, no email is sent. However if the Admin tab is blank, there is a default format with colors that looks nice.
Trying to obtain the same nice looking result in the “confirmed’ tab by leaving it blank has a different effect than in the Admin tab.
Admin tab have default value if it is blank but Confirmed not. Please put some content there because it will be ignored if empty.
