Hi,
We have a number of empty slots (hours) available for each day for our patients to choose. Someone has already booked his appointment and we have had it confirmed. The problem is that on the website the same appointment seems to be available and anyone can book it. How can this be fixed?

Hi Eleni,
 
can you please tell me how many connections do you have for that slot? Also is the same worker on both cases?

We have created one empty slot (for example at 19.00-19.30) and we have only one worker. The patient booked the slot and we have confirmed it. The problem is that on our website, the slot is still available for someone else to book.

Hi Nikola,
I am sending you our link, but its in Greek.

Click on the empty field in order to see the: word “Πρώτη Επόσκεψη” means first appointment (is for 30 minutes), and the word “Επανεξέταση” means re-evaluation and its for 15 minutes. Please note that none of this hours is covering each other.

Hi Eleni,

thanks for the link I have created one Appointment on 27. at 20h for “Πρώτη Επόσκεψη”. If I try to book it again it’s taken so I can’t do that. Can you also try it?

Hi Eleni, I am not sure I have just refreshed the page after creating appointment and everything worked well.

Nicola,
We have made a lot of tests, and when an appointment is “pending” the available slot turns red. Once it is confirmed, the slot turns grey and it available again for someone else to book.
Could it be something in the settings? how can we tuckle this?

Yes usually we refresh the page in order to see if it is updated on our website. Is this a problem?

You need to refresh the page after creating Appointment. But that should not be the problem.

Hi Nikola,

The problem still exists… after we confirm by e-mail the appointment to someone, then it turns again gray for someone else to book.

Please let me know if you have found out why.

if there is only one slot then it will be taken (gray) after first customer make appointment. Maybe want to say it is free to be taken again?

Can you please tell me do you have localization for backend part of plugin?

Yes they are free to be taken again.We have translated the plugins to Greek. If you wish i can send them to you by e-mail.

Dear Nikola,
We have tried the English version for the plugins, and for a couple of days it seemed to work fine. But now the slots are available to be taken again by someone else (double bookings).

Hi Eleni,

it’s hard to tell when I can’t see settings. If you are using extension plugin then if you remove it from Google Calendar it will be free as well inside EA. Maybe users click on cancel link inside mail. There are some cases where Mail server will open links from mail and cancel appointment without user confirm.
