Hi,
The online client facing application no longer blocks out meetings in my calendar.
It will show me as available, when actually I am not available.
Please help me solve this, since this has become quite an issue business-wise.
Tristan
Hi Tristan, can you please check if the token is still active? Do you get EA appointments to Google Calendar? Do you get any warning message inside EA Extension settings?
Best regards,
Nikola
Hi Nikola,
The token is still active.
New appointments made in EA are added to my calendar.
I see no warnings in the Extension settings.
Checking in the sync log file, I see a lot less appointments are being synced since last week than before.
So the behavior is as follows:
New appointments made in EA are added to my calendar.
My website with the EA calendar short code integrated will correctly show any appointments made in EA as an unavailable time slot.
Problem: Any other appointment in my calendar made recently outside of EA is ignored and shown as an available time slot.
Hi Nicola,
I really need support here.
My appointments are all going wrong now in my calendar.
I now noticed customers are double booking – even booking slots booked by other people using the easy appointments frontend.
I like your app, but I really need better support here.
Tristan
Hi Tristan, can you please create a temp admin access for me (email: nikolanbg[at]gmail[dot]com) to check the EA Extension settings? Looks like something is missing there since those appointments that are from Google Calendar are ignored.
Best regards,
Nikola
Hi Tristan, thanks for access. Can you please alter next thing. Inside EA Google settings there is option called advance sync options. Can you please create mapping that will have selected values for Service, Location and Worker. So not to be Any because it will try to match default service and location but those two are not also selected. So please remove old and add new mapping.
Best regards,
Nikola
Reason why sync back didn’t work is because EA was not able to find where to put those new events from GCal. 🙂
Best regards,
Nikola
Hi Nikola,
Okay. What does that mean? Do I need to change something in the settings?
Was that a bug?
And is it fixed now?
Hi Tristan, please check now appointments they should be synced. But there is also one thing that should be implemented. I suggest that you connect your WP with system scheduler on your hosting. Here is link to documentation https://easy-appointments.net/documentation/connect-system-scheduler-cron/ if you want I can help you with that.
Best regards,
Nikola
Hi Nikola,
The sync is working again.
I have added a number of identical cron jobs running every 10 minutes since I’m only to set hourly intervals. This should do the same.
Thanks for your support,
Tristan
You’re welcome 🙂
