Google Calendar doesn't sync

Support forumCategory: BugsGoogle Calendar doesn't sync

I bought the extension plugin to sync the Google Calendar of my client with EA. The sync at the beginning works well from EA to Google, but not back. Now, it doesn't sync even from EA to Google, how can I manage it and solve this issue? Thank you.

Hi Alessio, can you please try to delete token and try again to authorize? Best regards, Nikola

Now from EA to Google, the appointment is working again, but still, I have some problems with Google Calendar. If I delete an appointment or create a new one from Google Calendar, nothing happens in the EA. How can I solve this? This feature is working or is in beta? Thanks

Hi, both creating new one and deleting exiting events from GC should reflect on EA. Sounds like a settings issue. Can you please tell me have you fill out advance sync option mappings inside EA Google settings (on the bottom). If that is not the case then sync back is blocked. Best regards, Nikola

Hi, I have the same issue, When I delete the appointment in google the appointment in EA will not be cancelled. How can I see that sync back is blocked?

Hi Sander, can you please check if you have added advance sync options mapping. Also check if there is any notification regarding Cron at the top of the page. Like Cron is not working since… etc.

Best regards,
Nikola

Of course, I set the info for sync back from GC but it still doesn't work.   In the Advanced Calendars sync, you wrote that "If you want to sync only with Primary Google calendar leave Advanced Calendars sync table empty." so I left this option empty because I need the sync only for the primary calendar liked to this email and Google Account.   How can I solve this issue? My client is waiting for a solution.   Thank you, Alessio

In that case event creator and email of worker should match. I will suggest that you add mapping settings in advance sync options. Also turn logging on to see how sync perform. Maybe Cron is creating a issues there.

Nikola

Seems like the sync is working but it doesn’t copy the event from EA to GC.

What can I do more to solve the issue?
Please let me know.

Thank you,
Alessio

And I also have this notification from WP:

“Your Cron is running inside WordPress! Please consider setting Cron to run from System Task Scheduler! By doing that all background task are going to execute on time and without any limitation. Please follow official WordPress guide on Hooking WP-Cron Into the System Task Scheduler.”

What do I need to do?

Thanks for your support
