Error saving the mail setting

We cannot save the changes in the setting: Mail messages. Changes are not accepted. There is no reaction after pressing the save button.
What could be the problem? We use WordPress Version: 5.7
together with Elementor v3.1.4 and Elementor Pro v3.2.0   Many thanks for the support.
