Cloned days not over riding longer term connections

The way easy app worked historically, you set up the service and department with the dates through eternity.  To then not be open or available for that date/service you have to "clone" the service and department on that specific day and mark the "Is Working" selection as "No".   So historically the "clone" connection would override the original connection (that is out to 2099), and now that isn't doing that.  This is odd as it's what I've done before to close the shop, or in some cases, just take certain services off the table for certain days    Does anyone know another way, or understand another process that I'm not aware of to close for a day?

Hi, I am not sure if I understood that. You are cloning connections but cloned value is not as in original connection? Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola, yes. I want to shut off a service for the day as an employee can’t be in the store, and he is the only one that can do the service. Previously I was told to clone the connection, change the date to the day the person will be out, change to “not working” and it will take away that service on that day. That has worked in the past but is no longer working. How do I shut off one of the services for one of the days?
