Can You Make Required Custom Form Field Also Require X Number of Characters?

I've created a Required Custom Field for "Description Of Problem" (appliance repair company) but we need it to be X number of words or characters. I don't see a way to create that with the choices/settings in the Customize/Custom Form Fields area.
We need about 15 words or 60 characters for the field to be useful.
Please let me know how to accomplish this, if possible.

Hi, there is no option to limit this atm. It will be simple textarea field. Best regards, Nikola
