I have always had this issue but it has become more frequent of late. Client emails to say their booking was canceled immediately after the booking is made.
Booking is still in ‘confirmed’ status on WP, still present in my IOS calender, no cancellation notification comes through the email.
I havent looked back through all the old bookings but for the two that occured today, both had two bookings at the same time. one canceled, one remains. This also happens regularly but does not always result in a phantom cancelation.
I have bookings set to be confirmed by default. Client does not have a ‘cancel button’ on their email. i do not receive 2 notifications when a booking is duplicated.
i looked through previous answers to this question but i could find a solution.
i have added text to the client cancelation email to explain but people dont read things and just get ion touch to ask why i canceled after telling them to book!
any advice appreciated
Hi Ian, can you please share the link to EA form page so I can test it?
