Support forumCategory: BugsAllows double booking

Recently Easy Appointments has started to allow double bookings which is not great. I have purchased the premium package. Using Google Calendars. It seems to sync what it feels like. And if there is an overlap on the times it allows another booking. Say I manually enter 10:15-11:00 in Google Calendar, it will allow me to book 10:00-10:45 as an example. I have checked other answers on here and none have worked out. I have added all the Google calendars to the Connect (Beat) tab under advanced calendar sync. I know the Cron job is running as I manually entered an entry in Google calendar and it sync’d but it doesn’t seem to have sync’d back when I deleted it. I’m at a loss. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Happy to privately give you access to the WordPress site so you can support it. My client is not very happy so if there is no resolution soon I will have to look into alternative solution. Then I may chase up for a refund. But would much prefer you help support. Thanks.
PS If it’s an issue with the Google — Easy Appointment connection which works sometimes so I don’t think so but you link on WordPress to the video goes to YouTube then says the video is private. (>>VIDEO TUTORIAL<< link)
PPS There is also a Cron job message but the link to that also does not work.
Are you still a running concern?

Hi Wayne, can you please create a temp account for me (nikolanbg[at]gmail[dot]com) so I can check what is going on inside settings. Also can you please provide me with example of date and time where appointment is created but you can overbook? Keep in mind that sync back from google calendar can take some time depending on a settings. For example if you have set sync interval of 15 minutes then in worst case it will be synced after 15 minutes leaving window of opportunity for overbooking.

Hi Nikola, i have encoutered similar problem. I have noticed, that customers can book two different connections at overlaping time, which is not okay. Is there a setting to disable this? I would like to have 30min free time to prepare for new customer.

Hi Mare, you need to alter service settings and put block after vale of 30 minutes. Are those two connections for same service or for different ones?
