Support forumCategory: BugsIMPORTANT – Admin emails notification issue!
Nikola Loncar Staff asked 5 years ago

Hi,

we have found out that some mail servers are blocking the Admin notification email due to it’s content. Looks like they are picked up by spam filters for some reason. One of those hostings is Bluehost but there are also others. New version that is coming soon (in next 24h) will solve that issue.

Best regards,
Nikola

I updated to version 1.11.0 but I’m still not receiving admin emails. I’m with Bluehost, can you please assist.

Hi Riveradesignz, there is a new email template for admin inside settings > customize page. Can you please alter admin email template and see if you are getting the emails?

Best regards,
Nikola

Riveradesignz replied 5 years ago

Thank you for your reply. When I alter the email in the “Pending notification emails” , only the first email reaches the admin and user. But when I re-test it, only the user receives email and not the admin

I think I might have solved it. Crossing fingers it works.

Thanks.

Hi Consuelo, looks like that is a issue with receiving the email and not the sending. For example if you put different email address for admin do you get admin email?

Best regards,
Nikola

Hello Nikola
I’ve modified the email account for admin, a gmail account, and I still don’t receive the appointment confirmation email.
If I remove sender account in options, take by default wordpress@dominio.com; but if I create this email account, nothing is received…
any suggestions?

¡muchas gracias!
un saludo,
Consuelo

Hi Consuelo,

can please tell me if there are any errors on Settings > Tools page?

Best regards,
Nikola

Consuelo_Daza Bertrand answered 5 years ago

Hi Nikola
Sending email from tools, no error.
is received on the account I tell you about
What I don’t know is what it takes for admin: I have the same one I used in the test.
And nothing is received as confirmation of the appointment…
maybe it’s missing to indicate it somewhere in the options?
¡muchas gracias!
Un saludo,
Consuelo

Hi Consuelo,

can you please try with setting SMTP plugin for sending the emails from WordPress site. Usage of SMTP can solve most of the issues with email.

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi, Nikola:
thank you for responding
I tried the smtp plugin and it doesn’t improve the result:
the customer, receives the mail
the worker receives the mail
admin does NOT receive mail

¡muchas gracias!

Hi Consuelo,

I think I know what is the issue. Some email server reject content of admin email, can you please alter the admin template and try again. You can do it on Settings > Customize page, admin template is last card on email templates.

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi, Nikola
thank you for responding
but, it still doesn’t work: you don’t receive the mail in admin.
I don’t know if the problem is that I have it in a multisite, specifically in the second site, and it doesn’t link well, whatever it is…..
I’m going to copy this site to a new wordpress installation with unique site, see if that works well.
And, also, the problem of the connection with the calendar.

un saludo,
