Blocking slots via google calender

Using the extension and google 2 way sync, can I block slots by simply add something in my connected calender? Do the slots in that time interval become "busy" for clients in EA?

Yes as long as the calendar is in the booking system adding a block of time x to y will block out bookings on the booking system from x to y.  It shows as a greyed out block of time unable to book.
