Hi,
Since yesterday I’m experiencing issues with overbooking: I tried to put in settings “Busy slots are calculated by same: Worker” as it has already been suggested here, but it doesn’t work.
I’ve already tried to change the setting also with “Busy slots are calculated by same: location” or “Busy slots are calculated by same: worker, location, service” or “Busy slots are calculated by same: service”: nothing seems to work.
This is the site where EA is installed:

Can someone please help me fix this issue?

Hi Chiara, have you installed latest update? Also please check how many slots are there? I would also suggest Exclusive by Worker option for calculating busy slots.

Best regards,
Nikola

Hi Nikola,
Thank you for your kind reply.
I tried what you suggested (I have updated EA + I have chose Exclusive by Worker option for calculating busy slots in the settings), but the problem persists: the booking is still open for time slots that were already reserved by other patients.

Here’s what happens: my locations are different medical branches, services are what the doctors do, and workers are the doctors. I’m experiencing trouble with – example. – Dermatology: the same doctor, in the same hours, can be reserved for different services (a medical examination, a mole check, cryotherapy and so on). His working hours are Thursdays from 15:00 to 19:00 every week. Every service he provides requires 30 minutes, so I set up in “number of slots” 8 for every service. When I try to book a mole check for aprile 4th, though the doc is already busy with other appointments, EA shows me that he is available for every time slot (except 18:30). When I try to book – for the same day with the same doctor – a medical examination, the time slots available are different (16:00, 17:00, 17:30).

Am I making some mistake in the set up? Could you please help me out?
Thanks,
Chiara

Hi Chiara, number of slots 8 means that same doctor can provide 8 customers at the same time. You need to keep that number at 1 in your case. Also keep Exclusive by Worker setting and try again to see if now it is blocking other slots for same doctor.

Best regards,
Nikola
