I bought your add on to sync with gmail calendar. I followed your video guide (I think it’s all ok because I can select the calendar I want in “advanced Calendar sync”) and I connected with system scheduler (I try also to excute wp-cron.php manually)  but no sync. Could you help me?

Hi, there can be couple of things. Most likely there is something missing in settings. For example email from creator of Google Calendar event didn't match email of worker. Can you please take a screen shot of those settings inside Extension plugin? Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola! I face a similar issue. In my case the sync works one way. I can see in Google Calendar the appointments created in Easy Appointments but it does not sync in the opposite direction. Please note that I did not leave the fields "Default location" and "Default service" empty as it is stated in the "Connect" page to sync new Appointments created on Google Calendar. If I delete an appointment created with Easy Appointments from the google calendar, the appointment is canceled, so apparently the calendars are "connected" and synchronized partially. The calendar settings are "Primary Any Any Any" Another detail, I have one worker, but the worker's e-mail (hosted by the site hosting server) is different from the google calendar account. Regards,
Costin

Hi Costin as you mention in last part Worker email must match with email address of Calendar Event creator. If you want to avoid that just map instead of Any that worker in settings.

Nikola

Thanks a lot, it worked!
I have tested the synchronization in several ways and most operations work fine.
However I found a limitation or bug. It is not a big deal, but just to let you know, the synchronization does not work if you delete an appointment from Easy Appointments WP interface regardless how it was created. The appointment remains forever in Google Calendar until removed from there as well.
And as someone wrote somewhere on the forum, it would be nice if the Google Calendar description and/or title could be propagated to Easy Appointments.
Using the “Cancel” link or deleting from Google Calendar is ok.

Best regards,
Costin

Hi Costin you are right only if you Cancel Appointment it will remove it from GC. If you delete it then it will not remove it from GC. It’s like that by design. 🙂

Nikola
