Hi, there is a new version of EasyAppointments 2.14 with new feature regarding link actions that customers receive. So if you every experienced situation when Appointments has been booked and canceled right away when customer receive email? Reason behind that was Mail servers which opened and check links from email. Now there is a now option that allow you to set two step actions when user click on link. There will be additional question and it will require user interaction in order to confirm or cancel appointment. :) Best regards, Nikola

Where is that option? I just upgraded to 2.14.0 but cannot find it. I also cannot find a description in the documentation.

Hi, inside EA Settings > Customize > Mail notifications section 🙂

Thanks, I found a setting “Two step action links in email” and it works. Unfortunately the confirmation page is in English (we’re using Dutch/Nederlands) and the title of the page is “WordPress > Error”

Hi, those labels are part of translations. So you will have to add those to Dutch translation file and you will have different ones. If you submit that to me I can add it to next version.

Best regards,
Nikola

Do you want to cancel (the) appointment = Wilt u* (de) afspraak annuleren?
Yes I want to cancel (the) appointment = Ja, ik wil (de) afspraak annuleren

*) Dutch has to versions of “you”: the formal “u” or the informal “je”. It depends on relation and style. “U” makes a more professional impression on me, but Facebook and IKEA address their customers (or victims) with “je”. Use “Wilt u” or “Wil je”.

And BTW, this is a very welcome new option. Apart from the mail servers we also got many accidental cancels from people with iPhones that accidentally hit the like wile scrolling through their emails.
