Hi Nikola,   When I move or update a calendar entry in Google Calendar that has the invitee feild updated when created from EA. These changes are not reflecting back in EA. It was working before but since recent update it has stopped working. Please check this ASAP.

Hi Nikola, are you available today. It seems weird the appointment keep getting cancelled automatically. Also, appointment s from google calendar do not sync. There are 3 appointments in the system that were created in EA, got sync to Gcal. Now they showing cancelled in EA and Gcal. Also, email has been sent to the email from gmail to those users. Today same thing was observed for another user. The appointment was created in EX, sync to Gcal. Now it shows cancelled.

Hi Nikola, I have fixed most of it but I have left 2 calendar entries that got cancelled. We need to find out what is the issue as I am still struggling to have some confidence in the system as it keeps changing the appointments status. Sometimes if I duplicate it does not pick the right Venue from the existing booking.  I have been investing so much time around EA in testing and putting code to integrate it with other systems and its not paying off well. Would really appreciate if we can look into this as a matter of urgency.

Hi can you please do following. Inside EA Settings > Customize > Mail Notifications section turn on option called "Two step action links in email". Sometimes mail servers can open link from email and trigger action such as cancellation of appointment. This will prevent it from doing that. Best regards, Nikola

Ok, I am trying that now. How do I fix the existing date as they show as duplicate in Gcal?

I will just update them in DB directly from cancelled to confirmed?Iin EA front end if we update an appointment its mixes up the calendar and everything ? Also, how about if I duplicate an existing appointment it shows it as different location ?

Hi, I am not sure that they will sync back to google calendar. How many events are there? Best regards, Nikola

HI Nikola, When I duplicate the calendar entry in Gcal it does not populate the users previous location, it copies it into a new location. Is that due to any setting or a bug ?

Hi that depends on Advance sync options in EA Extension settings. If you altered mappings it will go to different location. Best regards, Nikola

Ok, noticed that but that is not correct, it should pick it up from the last data and not from here. OR should give us an option to select it. Otherwise I will need to alternate the advance settings every time I create in Gcal. If I duplicate the calendar entry created from EA in Gcal for next 10 recurrence it will create all for a different location. What is the other way to do this, Can I copy previous entries of appointment table directly from DB and insert duplicate copies in DB appointment table directly ? Can you provide a script as it does not look we can get this to work from Gcal creating appointments?   Also, how can I delete or truncate all future appointments directly in DB, can yo uplease provide a script for it?

Hi, I made the below mentioned changes last week but I still see appointments getting cancelled. All my Saturday appointments got cancelled for the same users as last time before making this change. Hi, can you please try editing status on couple of those cancelled appointments to confirmed? You will have to wait for sync interval time.Is that is the case only for that one Google calendar? Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola, I am little frustrated with this try and error all the time as its costing my business lot of failed status and appointments. Can you please put more information what are you trying to achieve by me trying these status again ? These were confirmed appointment and now showing cancelled without us amking any changes on calendar or EA. Yes its the same google calendar, how many google calendar can be integrated to one EA??

I will need access to Admin part to check settings. It’s hard to debug remotely 🙁 If you send it I will inspect all the settings that are there regarding cancelation. Also I will make couple of bookings for testing.

Hi Nikola, Its very disappointing to still have this issue happening and the response show at your end. Not sure why would you not request for logs rather than requesting for people's website login. I will send you an email with login details but I will disable the login in couple of hours so please check ASAP.

Hi Saurabh, I have tried to download log file but it keeps restarting 🙁 Those events are for 22.11 and you have reported it on 24.11. when exactly the have been canceled. Do you receive email notification when appointment is cancelled?

PS We will add option to clear log records for Extension plugin asap.

I did not get any cancellation email because I have removed the cancellation notification. I was having issue people not turning up for appointment as system was sending automatic cancellation email due to these issues. could we not clear the logs from DB to speed up this process? I will fixed these appointments in the mean time from backend DB so I can update my CRM with these appointments. However, I am pretty sure these Sunday appointments will cancel again coming Sunday.

Hi Saurabh, we will add delete button for log during the day. It is a file inside plugins folder.

Hi Nikola, EA is acting weird. I have put reminder for before 24 hours. For tomorrow's booking at 4 pm it sent a reminder at 4 pm today and sent another one at 1:20 AM at midnight just now. This is Strange as some appointments that are there and I can see there SMS reminder were sent. Then later when you check you dont see them in EA. So I recreate them and then those reminders are within 24 hours so system decided to send reminder again at 2 am in night. I am going to have a lot of unhappy clients. Can you please look into it as a matter of urgency as it seems these learning s are coming to be very costly.

Hi, I will have to check SMS function and how it is working now. Should receive only one reminder per appointment. You are saying first SMS was fine but then there was another one in the morning :

Yes, for same appointment 2 reminders were sent. One reminder 24 hours before the appointment that is 4 pm previous day and another one at midnight 1 am.

Did you get chance to look into it. The appointments continue to get cancelled. Another example was this morning Wednesday 9th Dec. 6 AM appointment which got cancelled automatically.

Hi, I was looking at it but I was not able to find out why. Can you please send me to email sync file from EA because I was not able to download it. File is located in wp-content/plugins/easy-appointments-connect/src/logs/google-sync.log.php. Here is how sync works for deleting events. During sync interval all appointments are pulled from Google Calendar. After that events that are not pulled from Google Calendar are cancelled from EA. Best regards, Nikola

Ok, so would it be possible that our invitees are deleting event or mark as complete at their end which in turn sync with our google calendar as some other status than confirmed. Then EA syncs and cancels it as the status is not confirmed ? Also, We created so many appointment in google calendar with Invites none of them got sync back in last 2-3 days. Its becoming painful to use EA. I am planning to move on to any other paid scheduling tool as it seems there are some issues for using EA. Can you mark this post as private so its just between us.

while getting the log it seems the sync is not running since Thursday and hence none of the entries created in google calendar has sync back to EA. Do we know why its not syncing and how do I fix it?
