Hello, I installed Easyappointments yesterday on https://onlinefrenchteacher.com/about/ and when I first tested all was fine. Now that I added a text for cancellation email, every time I book a lesson it gets cancelled automatically. What am I doing wrong? I tried with various email addresses but get the same automatic cancellation. So basically I get an email that the reservation is pending and then an email that it was cancelled right away, sometimes the cancelled one comes in even before the pending one. Is this a bug?Thanks!

Hi, can you please remove cancel link from all email templates and save it. Maybe you have some crawler that is visiting links inside your mail. Best regards, Nikola

Hello Nikola,

Thanks for the fast answer. I have not added any cancel link to the email templates, but there are links for cancel and confirm automatically added in the template for notification of reservation. I am sorry but I don’t know how to remove it, do I have to edit Easyapointment on the programming side?

You can alter that as well. Please open EasyApp > Settings > Customize and there you will find editor for email templates. Last one is for Admin notification. If it not defined you will get that default one. So please create template for Admin notification without cancel link. Best regards, Nikola

Hi Nikola,
Thanks a lot, that solved it! I am worried now about the crawlers, anything I can do about that? For now if I understand correctly I just need to have the lesson cancelled manually from the settings if needed.

You’re welcome. Looks like your mail server checks links within mails by open it. Maybe you can turn that feature off.
